x x x The Red King wil be the featured musical performer for this year's ESOZONE occult seminar weekend at the SOMEDAY in Portland Oregon August 10-12. The Red King will wrap up this event on Sunday the 12th at midight...of course. Tickets for the entire weekend are available at ESOZONE.com and tickets for the Sunday performance will be available only at the door. Like the CONVERGENCE 13 show, this event will likely sell out early, so we recommend getting there early in order to assure admitance... there were more people left out at Convergence than got in !

If you have never experienced a Red King performnance live, you can now see many (not all...there must always be secrets) of the perfromers and their activities during one of these ritualistic encounters. If you have your own pictures from a Red King perfromance, don't hesitate to send them in for possible posting in the gallery.
x x x The Red King at CONVERGENCE 13
The Red King has been tapped to headline the opening night of
CONVERGENCE 13, the largest annual gothic music festival in the US.
This year's events will be in Portland, Oregon from May 24-27. Other
acts this year include Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Abney Park
and Faith and the Muse. While The Red King was originally slated to
perform at the Crystal Ballroom, the festival's home venue, promoters
felt that the Crystal would not be adequite for the extreme nature of
a Red King show. Therefore, Convergence 13 sought a more appropriate
venue for the entire opening night. They secured the old Fez Ballroom,
located just around the corner from the Crystal, and a favorite of
many other national touring bands as well as the beguiiling Shadowplay
dance extravaganza. At the Fez, The very intense ritual and multimedia
presentation of the Red King can be fully realized without the
limitations inherent at Crystal. Thanks Convergence13! ...
